Protect your business
It is now a fact of modern life that there is a higher incidence of anti-social behaviour, with retail staff increasingly becoming the victims of crimes of a more violent nature. Gould’s are helping to promote a sense of security for customers and staff and improve police/licensee liaison by providing two-way radio and other dedicated services such as links to CCTV control rooms.
Stay in touch
Local police and PCSO’s may also be carrying a ShopWatch radio and can respond to a shop or venue’s request for assistance. People visiting a premises that operates a “ShopWatch” system are made aware by means of posters and window stickers. This reinforces the message that staff are connected and able to interact with other shops, as well as the police and PCSOs, if necessary.
Support your staff
The ShopWatch system is not intended to replace calling 999 in an emergency nor 101 to report an incident but is intended to complement existing communication channels. It can be used to exchange information on known criminal activity with the police, to report a lost child or to reach out for first aid help where a customer may have suffered a medical emergency.

ShopWatch radio network
Our bespoke ShopWatch systems have an antenna mounted within the town centre. This type of installation provides clear audio quality between all members, PCSOs and/or the police, outdoors or indoors. The system also benefits from having an IP connection to a CCTV control centre.

- £5.00 per radio per week is based on a minimum of 20 radios.
- Installation of antennas and repeater equipment is included in the 20+ package.
- Technical support and training is also included in the 20+ package.
