People and vehicles
Dahua WizSense classifies a person or a vehicle. An alert is for someone on the drive or a van at the gate. Rain, a branch, headlights and insects stay off the phone.
Number plates
ANPR reads a UK plate as a vehicle arrives. Known vehicles can open a barrier. A marked plate can send an alert. Later, the entrance is searched by plate.
A warning at the camera
TiOC cameras add a light and a siren or a voice when a person is somewhere they should not be. Many of them also let you speak back from the phone.
Find the moment
AcuPick searches the recordings for a person or a vehicle you have already seen. On selected recorders, WizSeek takes a plain description, such as a yellow jacket beside a white van.
People and vehicles, without the false alarms
Older motion detection reacted to weather and light. Dahua WizSense uses deep learning on the camera to tell a person or a vehicle apart from everything else. It is the range Gould fits for a home, an office, a shop, a workshop or a small warehouse.

A house and a depot are specified differently. Gould chooses the camera and the recorder for the job. A site that only needs a reliable alert for a person or a vehicle stays on WizSense.
Number plate recognition
ANPR is for a gate, a yard, a car park or a depot entrance. A Dahua ANPR camera reads the plate in the camera itself. The list of known vehicles sits in the camera, so a barrier can still open if the office network is down.
At the gate

Plate lists and face lists are fitted where the site has a reason for them. Gould talks through what is stored, how long it is kept, and who can see it, before the system is ordered.
More analytics, where a site needs them
Dahua WizMind is the project range. It is used when a shop, a warehouse, a campus or a transport site needs more than an alert for a person or a vehicle. The exact functions depend on the camera and the recorder.
Faces and people
Face detection, and recognition against a list of known faces where that is required. People counting, queue length and a heat map of where people stand.
Vehicles
Vehicle metadata alongside ANPR. Parking-space checks, and a vehicle left where it should not be, on the models that support those jobs.
On a working site
PPE detection on supported cameras, such as a hard hat or a hi-vis vest. Useful at a yard, a warehouse door or a construction gate.
Privacy
A mask can be drawn over a neighbour’s window, a till or another area that should stay out of the recording.
A useful picture after dark
Night performance is chosen per camera. Gould matches the light on site to the camera that will actually see it.
Infrared
A black and white picture in darkness. Discreet, and the right choice where a light coming on would be a nuisance.
Smart Dual Light
Infrared for ordinary watching. When a person or a vehicle is detected, a warm light comes on and that event is recorded in colour.
WizColor
Colour in very low light, so clothing and vehicle colour are still visible. It still needs some light. It is used on a drive, a yard, a loading area or a car park.
TiOC
Three jobs in one camera: AI detection, a warning light and sound, and a colour picture of the event. Fitted at a front door, a side path, a gate or a loading door. General coverage uses a standard camera.
Searching the recording
A multi-camera site should not mean hours of playback. Dahua’s search tools work on a compatible camera and recorder. Some recorders can run the search for older cameras as well.
AcuPick 2.0
Pick a person, a vehicle, a face or an animal from a picture. The system finds the other cameras where that target appeared, including a path across the site.
WizSeek
On selected newer Dahua recorders, type what you are looking for. A person in a yellow jacket beside a white van. A red pickup in the car park. A person carrying a box through the rear door.
How you watch it
On site
IP cameras connect to a Dahua network recorder. PoE puts power and picture down the same cable. Live view and playback are on a monitor in the building.
On a phone
The DMSS app shows live pictures, playback and alarms. A push alert arrives for a person, a vehicle or a plate you have marked.
From another site
Cameras at a remote yard or another building can come back to one recorder or one screen. A wireless link is used where a cable cannot reach.
On your network
The system can sit beside an existing network. Gould will keep the cameras off guest Wi-Fi where that is the right design, and will say so at the survey.
Installed by Gould
Survey, fitting and a year on site
A Gould engineer surveys the building, agrees the camera positions, and fits the system. Maintenance is available after that. Every system installed by Gould carries a one-year on-site warranty.
The same team advises on a house and on a commercial site. Domestic systems are smaller. They can still use person and vehicle alerts, colour at night, a plate camera on the drive, and the phone app.

Recordings can be used as evidence where they are needed. Face lists and number-plate lists are included only where the site requires them.
